Over the past year or so I have been collecting a lot of music. Just trying to digest it all and decide whether stuff is ‘good’ or not. Basically just a music blog with a little bit of life thrown in.

A Sample of Previous Press And International Media
An example of some people who have discovered our music via the internet are Tony Cowell (older brother of Simon Cowell) who spoke about us on his US radio show:
“…I also really like Aussie band The Sparkling Arrest. Your song Skyman is really good. It reminds me of the Waterboys – May I suggest something? – Strip it back and do a 3 minute version – you may then have a hit on your hands.”

Another is British music blogger Paul Reynolds, who also has a monthly half hour radio interview with National US radio presenter Larry Flick. Here is a review he wrote for one of our songs.
“The Sparkling Arrest… have released the epic tune I know they had in them. The Seventh Sigh is a gently increasing wall of sound that crescendos into a terrific arms in the air stadium anthem. Crashing piano, blistering guitar and an impassioned vocal – it belongs on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. People would “lose their shit” as the kids on the street say. Quite wonderful.”
